Fusion short answer?

Suck
You create a vacuum

Squeez

You compress the hydrogen gas

Bang

You create an explosion and burn of plasma at a high tempature

Blow
You create byproducts of the reaction which shoot out from the point of implosion

You hope to confine the hot plasma using electromagentic forces

You hope to measure and understand, what is commonly misunderstood

Was there a point to this thread?

I wouldn't call it the the best Haiku for the ITER I've heard but it's a start I suppose.

Fusion short question:

Where are your neutron measurements you announced?

'Round here, if you say you've done something, you must be prepared to show it. Better to understate your work and arrive with solid material once you've developed it to rock-solid status, than overstate it and get caught out in schmoozing and exaggerations.
