Has anyone here had any luck with getting the OOPIC and XOOPIC charged particle EM simulation codes to compile?
I ask because these have some interesting features like support for background gas loads and time varying EM fields.
At the moment compilation is proving 'interesting', but as I have access to a whole pile of computational power that is mostly idle at present, trying to build a simulator that actually gives good numbers might be interesting.
Anyone got any tips on how to get this vast pile of C++ to actually compile?

OOPIC charged particle codes?
Re: OOPIC charged particle codes?
I could look into it (since I promised to help), where can I find that code with it's possible documentation?
Re: OOPIC charged particle codes?
I have now got it to compile, its graphics library depends on a particular version of TCL/TK which rapidly started a decent into dependency hell....
