Aluminum has a lower work function and will flouresce fairly easily. Your chamber will not flouresce due to it's thickness . The thin aluminun will act like a light bulb under xray bombardment or electron bombardment but not uv. That is why it is hardly used for high voltage instruments in a vacuum.
