This area is for discussions involving any fusion related radiation metrology issues. Neutrons are the key signature of fusion, but other radiations are of interest to the amateur fusioneer as well.

Richard -- what is the Manufacture of the CCFl module -- I have some probs sourcing this side of the pond

I tried tooking in the RS catalog, and was surprised to find they didn't have either CCFL lamps or inverters. You might want to try their web site to see if this has changed. I also tried Bull Electrical, but they seem to deal mostly in dodgy trash rather than useful items. The closest UK area source for CCFL inverters I was able to find on short notice was www.visualux.com/visualux2/. I don't know if they deal in small quantities, but if you ask them very nicely with hat in hand, they might send you a sample. Who knows?
