For the design and construction details of ion guns, necessary for more advanced designs and lower vacuums.

Could a fusor be used as a thruster?

If a fusor had a moderator covering one hemisphere only, would the
neutrons emitted from the uncovered hemisphere at several Mev. provide
a forward thrust?

Just a thought...

Hi guys:

I can post it for you.
Dr Bussard has many fusor based propulsion schemes.

Happy Fusoring!

At my company we worked on the power supply design (15KV) and also at the Solar Panel resonant dc-dc converter from low voltage cells (98% efficiency). I saw the engine propulsion system design and it seems to be the Star Trek one's! Now we are working on more powerful electric engines so I will try to work on them.
