Could I use these for a demo fusor?

Sorry if this is asked frequently but could I have found a transformer on eBay but it has a 120v primary, so I will require a step-down transformer or a Variac as Ross has mentioned. I am planning on using:

The Step down transformer will provide a 110v output, which is less than the 120v primary of the transformer but it's better than nothing.

I still strongly suggest a variac. It's a variable autotransformer. Since you need a variac anyway, you'd be hooking two autotransformers back-to-back unnecessarily. Variacs are available with taps so that you can automatically adjust to the correct voltage, or else you can simply not turn it up past 50%.
