I hear that stainless steel is a good wire for fusor reactors.

My question is can 316L stainless steel wire work for a fusor?

If you are constructing a neutron producing fusor and are interested in the type of metal wire you should use, turn your focus to this FAQ on grid construction: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=8660

This FAQ is helpful for choosing an appropriate grid material. Hopefully this answers your question.
