Post by charlie_mccartney »

I have a MicroTorr 11-D diffusion pump and I was wondering how much oil I should put in it because it has no information on it and I cannot find any info online.

Diameter? Image? 50ml is a good start on a nomal size pump, but it you have a 12" diameter throat, that's another matter.

If it is one of these, VMF-11, then 55 cc oil fill, 135 Watts, 11 L/sec pump speed.

Was originally a CVC product, then Varian carried it for a while.
