I have bought this kf40 valve I heard they were really good for throttling. the problem is it doesn't have a knob for controlling does it run on power or is it manually operated?

In the listing it says "24VDC" that suggest that is uses 24 volts, DC. So yes, this does use electricity to control it. A simple google search could have answered your question.

Looks all pneumatic to me. It needs a high pressure air circuit and is either on or off. Useless for fusor work.

When posting, do not create a post that relies on an ebay link. It will die, and the value of the post will then die too. Also, create a title that summarises the post to facilitate searching.
