what flange is this?

Every fusor and fusion system seems to need a vacuum. This area is for detailed discussion of vacuum systems, materials, gauging, etc. related to fusor or fusion research.

what flange is this?

this looks like a CF flange but it does not have a knife edge for the seal so i was wondering what it is.

Highly possible it’s something proprietary for that model of diff pump. If not, it’s most likely going to be equally rare and difficult to source.

Most folks make their own flange out of a similar sized stainless or aluminum disc. Such discs (blanks) at 5/8” thickness are very common and affordable on eBay and Amazon.

It may be ISO-F as it looks like it is intended for use with a centering ring.

thats a good point i didnt think of that. I just saw the bolt holes and no knife edge ant didnt think of iso-f.

It may also be an ASA/ANSI flange. They're quite oddball.

For either ISO-F or the ASA flanges, you can find dimensional drawings and check which fits your flange.
