Edwards Pirani Gauge + Controller

Every fusor and fusion system seems to need a vacuum. This area is for detailed discussion of vacuum systems, materials, gauging, etc. related to fusor or fusion research.

Edwards Pirani Gauge + Controller

Post by Xelectro »

So I am building my first fusion chamber. I picked up an Edwards RV8 (Brand New) for under $1000 bucks.
Super happy with that. Also got a Edwards Pirani 502 controller and an APG-L Pirani Gauge. (Used)
The controlled is a 2 channel Pirani gauge controller with very minimal documentation. And had 2 x 5 pin DIN connectors. However the Pirani Gauge itself uses a standard RJ-45 connector. I just got those 2 items and haven’t messed with voltage measurements. I figure I ask if anyone has experience with rewiring something like that.
Thanks
