these caps were only designed for 2kv. these capacitors were designed for 8kv http://www.ebay.com/itm/NWL-S00686-30uf ... 23114b18b7. could I align them in 2 series powered by a MOT

conflat flanges and aluminum foil

when i am looking around on this website i see conflate flanges with the flange parts covered in aluminum foil. Why is this? is this to protect the knife edges?

I have found these 8kv .3uf capisitors will they work as a good multiplier with a 9kv 60 ma NST attached to them?

I emailed the seller asking him to check the diffusion pump heater he came back to me and said the heater coil measured ~35.6 ohms is that good for a diffusion pump heater?
