No gas flow through regulator

When I open the valve on the bottle of deuterium, it leaks out, and the regulator works fine with an air compressor. However, when I put the two together there is no flow at all through the system. Has this ever happened to anyone? My only guess is that the pressure is too high for the regulator, bu...

Archived - Fusor Update - Plasma!

Hi everyone, tonight I finally finished setting up my power supply and putting everything together. I was a little worried about the transformer because it was finicky last time I tried to measure voltage from it (The voltage jumped sporadically), but when I added a load, it stabilized nicely. Here ...

Where to buy Deuterium?

I have found many websites offering deuterium, but what is the cheapest/easiest one? I tried www.sigmaaldrich.com but they denied my request as I have a residential address. I could use my dad's work if it is required though.

Re: Varian Turbo Pump Help

I can't seem to find the manual for the V-60 Turbo Controller anywhere, which pins do I short? I am guessing they are on the connector labeled "P1 Input"

Here is a picture of the back but I can take a closer one if anyone needs. http://www.ajvs.com/images/varian/Varia ... r_3_wm.jpg

Re: Where to get a bubble detector?

Ok thanks, I'll check with some people. I am planning on running it within the next two months, so I may just need to suck it up if i can't find another way.

Where to get a bubble detector?

Hi, I recently asked the guys over at Bubble Technology Industries about the cost of a bubble detector, and I got an email back saying: "Thank you for your inquiry. A BD-PND lists at $164 USD each. There is a 2 detector minimum order. Shipping/Handling/Insurance is extra (~ $150 USD). I would need a...
