Re: first plasma demo fusor

Charlie,
I have my nst hooked up to a piece of a wire coming out of my chamber base. That is sealed with hot glue. I have my vacuum pump pumping out the air for a good 2 minutes then I plug in my hv and turn it on

Re: first plasma demo fusor

I'm using an AC 12Kv 30ma neon sign trasnformer. I'm using a vacuum bell jar from unitednuclear. Com and my vacuum pump, I don't know what company it is but it's ultimate vacuum is 5Pa. I have purchased a rectifying diode 20Kv 30ma and it is in the mail.

Re: first plasma demo fusor

If you need more pictures of my set up I can provide those. I wasn't sure if you just need the plasma or the whole set up

Re: Inner Grid Question

Thank you so much Dan!
I will try the spark plug first and if that fails I'll try the wire. If that fails I'm clearly doing something wrong and will most likely seek help when I go into highschool next year.
Once again thanks so much,

Re: Inner Grid Question

Yes to both? Or yes to the spark plug? Or yes to the metal wire idea?
