Another update/photo, as of June. I've got a lot of projects I'm working on right now. Among them, bringing a refurbished 100kV multiplier tower online for my setup. Steven, The zener circuit is a common approach, while that particular picture was done by Ying Wu, I made some corrections in photoshop. I believe Ying Wu's collection of zeners added up to ~1400V, and that was why the value was chosen. The ∆V for a successful zener suppression system can be as low ...
