Re: First Milestone and a Half

Hey Dennis,

Where did you get the frame for your system? I've been trying to find something like that rather then fabricating my own in the machine shop.

Thanks,

Josh

Re: Vacuum Chamber Delivered (With Pictures)

Hi Steve,

I'll shoot you an email later today regarding the info (retail vs. paid price, etc). Sadly though it was a one time thing I believe

Re: power to the fusor

<t>Hi Roman,<br/> <br/> Wow, that thing is quite insane. Are there any sort of markings on it of any kind that might be a model number of sorts? I know someone who designed x-ray systems power systems for close to 30 years, and he might be able to help. I'll be happy to forward the pictures on to hi...

Vacuum Chamber Delivered (With Pictures)

<t>Hi All,<br/> <br/> I just wanted to post some pictures of the vacuum chamber that was just delivered to me at the engineering school here at GW. It was built by Nor-Cal, a vacuum supply company out in California, for a very nice academic price. <br/> <br/> Anyhow, the chamber has eight 2.75" CF p...

Re: Eberline E600 manual and calibration software available

<t>Richard<br/> <br/> Don't knock on us youngins too hard, as we're gonna be the ones to push fusion into the mainstream over the next 50+ years. =P<br/> <br/> And don't think us youngins are strangers to hand coding microproc's...I've done my fair share of it on 8008's and more modern stuff, from a...

Eberline E600 manual and calibration software available

<t>Hi All, <br/> <br/> I just recieved the manual and calibration software for the Eberline E600 series ratemeter. This thing is the ferrari of radiation meters, but I was lucky enough to scoop one up for a few hundred bucks (this was after a Ludlum Model 12 that I had bought on eBay was a complete ...

Eberline ASP-1 vs. E-600

<t>Hi all,<br/> <br/> Does anyone have any thoughts on the ASP-1 vs. the E-600, other then the fact that the ASP-1 is like a mustang compared to the E-600 being like a ferrari. I have an NWood Labs BF3 tube that I'll be using at the start for neutron detection, and I know I need an adapter cable to ...

Re: Looks like Focus Fusion got funding...

Yep, just saw it on /.

Should be interesting to see what they come up with, always happy to see other fusion groups get funding

(though anyone who really believes in electric universe theory needs to have their head examined imo =P)

Re: CeramTec's new HV feedthroughs

<t>Carl,<br/> <br/> Thanks very much for sharing the info! I was just in the process of trying to find a reasonably priced HV feedthrough rated for 50kV that would be a good fit for my chamber, and this seems like the perfect fit. I just sent in a custom quote, as I'd prefer to have a 4.5" CF versio...
