Here's an interesting, but limited detector ... http://www.cnx-software.com/2016/07/29/ ... artphones/

New theory of what ball lightning is...
Interesting article regarding ball lightning, what it may be and how to make more of it.

I wonder if it could be done in a fusor or fusor like environment?

Re: Theoretical Size Limit of Fusor?
The smaller fusors will limit how high a voltage you can use within it.

Re: My Visit w Doug Coulter
Hi Doug,
Well, security software is my bread and butter right now. My C/C++ is rusty, but I think I can get by. Now days its Java/Python for me mostly, got to go where the market is. If you need a hand, let me know. My contact is below...

Re: My Visit w Doug Coulter
Hi Paul,
I'd be real interested in knowing if/when Doug would disclose his general design. I'm curious if it matches up with what I'm working on.

Robert,
That's a super neat setup you have! Are your neutron production run's very stable with this setup with the occasional flair up every now and then?

Re: Breakeven Laser Induced Ultradense Deuterium Fusion Clai
You may actually be able to get a very teeny tiny fraction of the deuterium to form ultra dense islands, but like you said, I don't think this is really viable. I'm still struggling to understand how they will be able to create enough fuel to make this work in real life. Otherwise, we would have thi...

Re: Breakeven Laser Induced Ultradense Deuterium Fusion Clai
Well, the Ultradense Deuterium idea has been kicked around for a while... George H. Miley was looking at it for LENR research(1) back in 2010. I'm just curious how they think they are going to make this fuel in the first place? Won't you need to prepare the deuterium and get it into an ultra dense s...

Machinist Prototype video series building stuff
Don't know if this has already been recommended, I found this video series very informative. This guy shows how to fabricate and build prototype parts for lab equipment and provides things to look out for when creating stuff. He has an enormous amount of equipment in his machine shop, but he explain...
