Paul, I guess Richard agrees it's ugly. (but I love the plasma aesthetic) We were having trouble winding the tantalum and couldn't get much uniformity, but I have some ideas to better wind. Interesting Plasma

Hi all!

After working out kinks in my vacuum, I decided to go for a test run with my tantalum spiral grid. I was able to get a hole threaded into my feedthrough and we have a replaceable grid system now (yes this grid is ugly).

Thank you all for the help! I should also ask Spellman about -50/12 that never crossed my mind.

I had seen the ebay posting but was concerned about only running with 5 ma. If the prices are reasonable from Spellman, I may end up buying the -40/5ma as well.
