Re: The US Navy Publishes on Polywell.

The way I see it is that the only piece that is left is specifically the virtual cathode. If they cannot get that to work there is no point going further, since the device would be no different than the fusor. Whether a virtual cathode will produce MORE occuring fusion than the fusor, now that is a ...

Re: FAQ - Ballasting a power transformer.

I plan on running the 50kv at a lower Voltage, and a slightly higher current btw.

Re: FAQ - Ballasting a power transformer.

I think I know where I went wrong now. My assumption, based on insufficient knowledge about transformers was that transformers (unballasted) will simply continue to draw an ever increasing amount of current. (My supply, btw - will be a 50kv 8ma x-ray transformer, I also have a neon transformer at 10...

Re: FAQ - Ballasting a power transformer.

Just a question about this. When I do the calculations using an ohm's law calculator the calculations come out in the megaohm range for resistors - where am I going wrong with this? I'm calculating for about 10-15 mA, and the calculator gives me somewhere between about 2.7-4.0 megaOhm.

Re: Diodes Help

would love a link to his store. I've tried searching, but I cant find it, and I don't know how to search for stores specifically.

Re: Diodes Help

Im currently bidding for a 50,000V 8mA High Voltage X-ray Tube Power Supply - would HVM12 diodes in series work for that? I'm specifically thinking about what Jeroen Vriesman mentioned about reverse voltage.
