Re: Welding using oxy acetaline?

I only use my oxy-acetaline rig for cutting now that I got myself a TIG welder.

Re: NIM - "Oh let me count the ways"...but how many ways??

I had one of those in the early 1970s! I actually used it with a frequency scaler to do service work on radio transmitters.

Re: Custom Fusor Power Supply

You might be able to get away with smaller capacitors if you switch to full wave, as the ripple frequency will now be doubled.

Re: The calibration of Baratrons

Actually automatic degaussing circuits started showing up in color TV sets in the mid 1960's as I recall. But even then, a lot of sets came from the factory out of convergence. I'd fix it it as part of the service call and got a lot of "It never worked that good when it was new." comments from custo...

Re: Mass flow controller question

Mine is a Sierra Instrumentation "Side track III" "cust code I-458 Range 0-10 SCCM Orifice .010" Gas H2. I found it on Ebay. Any MFC that can be set for 0-10 SCCM will do.

Re: Mass flow controller question

Re: Not a covid post! Get ready for the vacuum
