Re: Posting in FAQs vs user privileges

Frank, Thanks for looking into these options, but at least for my userid logged in, I don't see anything changed. On making attachments: I went to a post I made in the Deuterium FAQ and clicked edit. In the edit window, still no Attachments tab. I then clicked Reply in that FAQ thread to start a new...

Re: Posting in FAQs vs user privileges

Frank, Thanks for the reply. I just now started a Reply in a FAQ thread and the 'Attachments' tab is still missing. (I then backed out of the post.) I think you said you tried with a test user and found it ok. Was it a 'Registered Users' member? If so, is it maybe still a problem for 'Senior Users' ...

Posting in FAQs vs user privileges

As I was interacting in the recent FAQ thread about Deuterium and PEM Cells, I noticed two limitations on posting that I wasn't aware of. I am wondering if these are both intentional. As a start for the observations I see these five groups that users can be a member of, in order of descending privil...

Re: FAQ - Make your own deuterium from heavy water!! The video

Back near the begining of this FAQ thread Richard asked about the D2 volume from one cell charge. Mark replied, "One full PEM cell is good for a little over three 100mL charges. One could probably get 4 but running the cell dry is a sure way to damage it." Tonight I thought I'd try to do some calcul...

Re: Doug Coulter

Sad news, indeed.

I have made a bit longer post on the Coulter forum.

Here's one line I wrote there:
RIP Doug, my remote internet friend and guru.

Re: Base level source - PEM cell related items

Here's the longer form of my recent vendor searches. Small PEM Cells and D2O Vendors Working links in 2021: Some intro notes: Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies seems to be behind the little fuel cells some of us have adapted for deuterium production. Their main website: www.horizonfuelcell.com seems, n...

Re: Base level source - PEM cell related items

I disagree about a reversible cell being key. A reversible cell can be used to make deuterium, no problem. But for this application we only need the electrolyzer function. There are cells dedicated for this and in my current searches for vendors, the electrolyzers seem to be a little bit cheaper tha...

Re: FAQ - Make your own deuterium from heavy water!! The video

I made this post yesterday in another thread. Richard asked me to repost it here and keep all the discussion in the FAQ, so... Mark, Congrats on your video. Not only on the content but also the production, very good video and audio. ---- I thought I'd post a bit of stuff here rather than in the FAQ ...

Re: PEM Cell Deuterium / Setup and Operational Basics

Mark, Congrats on your video. Not only on the content but also the production, very good video and audio. ---- I thought I'd post a bit of stuff here rather than in the FAQ version. My thought is, if there is any discussion here, the end results can be gleaned and used to update the FAQ. The goal is...
