Re: Disassembling tube side HV tube conector

John,

Thank you for the reply. Sorry for fast writing and mistakes. Connector already disassembled and after soldering centre wire assembled again. Material looks is Teflon and adhesive seems is lacquer (not sure of the type).

Re: Disassembling tube side HV tube conector

As can be seen the white insulator above seems where two pieces stocked with a special HV glue during assembling. Any one know what king of glue can be used in high voltages (about 60kv)? I am planing to find the insulator and do the machining of two pieces and use HV glue to stick them together to ...

Disassembling tube side HV tube conector

I tried to disassemble our XRD diffractometer X-ray tube side connector to do some machining of the Teflon insulator to fit another tube but after removing all screws tried to pull out the cable and the connected contacts which seems are soldered to the cable. Cable came out a few mm but I realized ...

Re: LH IONIVAC IM 21 gauge controller meter turns left?

I striped the controller and tracked display meter connections. Finally I found N5558V chip draw too much current and PS 30V drops to 18V. Now I need schematic to find the problem. Anyone can help me with the Electronic schematic?

LH IONIVAC IM 21 gauge controller meter turns left?

When I turn on our Leybold IONIVAC IM 21 controller, the analog meter needle usually was turning right to show the correct pressure and slowly was moving left as pressure goes down but something happened yesterday and now when I turn on this controller needle moves to left end fast and locks there. ...

Yes. As a matter of fact ceramic to metal might even be better. Have you got experience with ceramic to metal?

Re: How to check instruments ground connection relibility?

I more want to test the ground connection impedance from where the instrument is connected onward. if you have a good low impedance earth rod inside the well but earth cable goes from the instrument to the rod inside the well is not good that means you wound get any benefit from that rod and well. I...

Re: How to check instruments ground connection relibility?

Could you please let me know what equipment is suitable for this purpose (brand, model, ...) and which one you are using?
Also if you can briefly explain about the measuring method that will be very helpful.

How to check instruments ground connection relibility?

We have a few expensive instruments in our lab. I would like to check their ground connection and condition of the ground well and ground rod to be sure there is no risk of damage to the instruments due to high ground connection resistivity. But I have no experience in this. After reading a lots of ...
