Re: Anyone recognize this connector (Pfeiffer TC600 turbo controller)

Jerry,

My workshop is at Newark. Would you like me to collect it when I'm next there?

Re: EXP: A New Year's treat; Crimzon doughnuts.

<t>Steven,

I think a lot of the confusion here arises from Chris's explanation of a design that originally consisted of magnets for confinement, then had five electrodes added, and is 'operating; in 'demo mode'(?), with magnets and electrodes, but will not have magnets in it's final form,...

Re: FAQ - The Sun versus the Fusor

<t>Following on from what Kevin has said, Newtonian physics (gravity, mass, inertia, F=MA, etc) has been around for as long as charge and magnetism (maybe longer), yet we know far less about the mechanisms of gravity and mass than we do about charge or magnetism.

Personally, I'm extremely...

Re: FAQ - The Sun versus the Fusor

James, you can't find fault with my reasoning, so you resort to insults.

Criticize my reasoning, or don't bother posting.

Or do you really think the density of the sun is the same at the edges as it is at the centre?

Re: FAQ - The Sun versus the Fusor

<t>Chris, I was trying to be constructive.

I was pointing out that the density of the sun isn't the same at all points, and that your maths doesn't appear (to me) to take that into account.

I realise it was a 'rough and ready' calculation, I notice you don't find fault with my ...

Re: The device that I built

<t>Carl said

"Your own statements on record show that you have no understanding whatsoever of what I do."

Then what do you mean by the above statement?

I understand you work for a company that supplies small accelerators. Correct me if I'm mistaken. I've worked on la...

Re: The device that I built

<t>Your not going to start evading questions again, are you, Carl.

In the nine months or so that I've been on this site, I don't recall you posting on any experimental work.

I've done the basic research, and I'm now building a system. As I've said before, recent progress has be...

Carl, I don't want to get dragged into another 'mud slinging' contest, but what exactly do you do?

Re: FAQ - The Sun versus the Fusor

<t>Chris, once again I'd like to point out that the sun's density is not uniform.

I believe you've not taken this into account.

It would be no good replicating the 'average density' of the sun, as most fusion occurs in the higher density regions ie the centre.

Gravit...

Re: The device that I built

<t>He IS experimenting, though, Carl, which seems to be more than you've done in a long time.

While peoples personal circumstances shouldn't preclude them from posting here, I agree with you that it is not relevant.

While I saw no evidence of fusion power when I was working at ...
