Re: Fusor setup - Almost ready for first light!!

Cool! Pretty fancy setup. When are you gonna add the positron emitters and the helium (or possibly lack of helium) detectors?

Trash Can Fusor

<t>Has anybody ever made a fusor that's half cylindrical and half spherical? Imagine a trashcan. The reason I ask is that those two types produce two good products for me, in the sphere an easier way to ionize the gas, and in the cylinder room for something I'm adding later on. Several things come t...

Re: Best type of HV transformer?

Since I'm not an expert, I don't have the final say. But based on past similar questions and the answers from the experts, this sounds like a great starting HV. Definitely plasma material once you finish it.

Re: FAQ - What is IECF.... Inetrial Electrostatic Confinement Fusion

<t>While you are right about not really understanding all of the replies thus far to you original post, I do understand large portions of the material. I was also think about when you said that most of the deuterons that missed on the first pass were useless, I had a kind of far fetched idea. I know...

Plasma Temperature

Has anyone actually measured the temperature of D plasma in our tiny vacuum chambers?
It can't be that hot if it can travel down plastic vacuum tubing into a pump. Just a question.
