Re: mig (ARGON) welding Alu pipework

Hi-

I think you will get problems welding on the outside- if you have not done so far you should search for "virtual leaks"...

Re: Loss of Precious Gas

Thank you for the answers but the Minican does not have a "bottle valve". So I am afraid of leakage in the regulator. It just has a knob on the low pressure side of the regulator.
Still same suggestions?

Thanks

<t>Hi-<br/> <br/> I have been using several different Leybold Pumps- from my experience the quality is great and all the service I had from Leybold was really good- pretty expensive but I guess this could be expected... FYI: activity is not zero...

Hi-

I just checked few days ago with my TBM-3S (pretty sensitive) and it definitely is somewhat active. So I have a nice piece of history. I will measure it with my MCA one day but before this I will have to build a "lead castle"... one day....

Kind regards

Re: Strange Feedthrough Flange

Hi-

I have a similar feedthrough- with a square flange instead. Just turned a fitting hole in an ISO flange and mounted the feedthrough on the flange- et voila.

Hope this helps
