Re: Japanese fallout detection with GM counters

<t>Illy, as you have stated there is a reason why government "PR" folks always play down the risk. Now if we were to talk about the Japanese government and TEPCO, they have lied and misled from the beginning. And that is sad, being that risks could be minimized to their population, and more real-tim...

<r>Hi all, it has been ages since I have posted here. But after the fukushima daiichi core melts and fuel pool incident, I knew I could find good info here. Absolutely, as has been stated here, the west cost (I am in Oregon) has "not" been hit with any "significant-health" levels of Fallout from Jap...

<t>Actually I believe they are only seeing 40% of the neutrinos current theories predict from the Sun. They have come up with some sort of phase shift thing (now that’s proper scientific tongue!) to explain 60% of the missing neutrinos. That’s great if your a mathematician as the equations now balan...

<t>This is a interesting conversation and reminds me of a quote I have from NIkola Tesla:<br/> <br/> "Many a would-be discoverer, failing in his efforts, has felt the regret to have been born at a time when everything has been already accomplished and nothing is left to be done. This erroneous impre...

Re: Infrastructure - the joy and end of us all.

<t>There are many factors involved. The individual can create a significant change, as they also have free will, but for their own good often one succumbs to the pressure of the greater. The CEO of ENRON can ensure delayed prosecution (or even freedom from recent criminal activities) due to his conn...
