First Light with new Fusor

Post by Mark Rowley »

First light of the new 2.75” cross Fusor this evening. In these pics I used an NST providing ~7kv or less due to the shunts kicking in (probably less than that). Vacuum was around 35mTorr making the plasma in the pics just on the cusp of extinguishment.

I’ll be assembling the electrical instrumentation with the main power supply over the next few days.
