My name is George Musser and I've been generally interested in fusion power for a while, but only at a theoretical level. (My background is in planetary physics.) Like many people, I got interested in making a demonstration fusor after reading Dan Spangler's Make magazine article. I have some experience with electronics, but am new to metalworking, which, I gather, is an essential skill for fusor construction. I greatly appreciate the resources offered on this site and everyone's patience in dealing with the inevitable stream of novice questions.
