Re: HV Divider

Hello Mr. Feldman, Thank you for the information, and fell free to keep posting contribution to this thread. It helps to better understand this issue. I studied a bit and decided to use two Omite 200 MOhms 1% thick film resistors, rated to 20kV, but the voltage will be limited to 17kV maximum in eac...

Re: Joe Gayo's Fusor - Neutron Detection Upgrade

Hello Joe, Nice work and I am happy the BD have arrived earlier than expected. I am trying to send you a private massage about the BD, but I don't know why the messages can't go out of my outbox. Can you contact me about our deal? Fell free to email me directly (c_machado@yahoo.com). Regards, Cristi...

Re: 50kV Supply

Hello Joe,

Thanks for the information. It is not clear to me how do you connected the parts. Do you have any block diagram? Do you have any schematic of your half bridge?

I am not an expert in HV, but I would like to learn how to assembly this HV source.

Regards,

Cristiano

Re: Joe Gayo's Fusor

Dear Mr Brown,

Sorry for my ignorance, but how do you "electrically seal" a tube? I would like to test this on my detector.

Thanks,

Cristiano

Re: Joe Gayo's Fusor

Do you really need a BD? I know it is a positive proof, but I believe (I am not an expert) you can already claim that you produced neutrons in a fusor, and be part of the Neutron Club.

Re: Rules for Claiming Fusion Clarification

Hello Joe,

Very nice setup. Did you already tested it with deuterium?

Re: Firsts?

Hello,

The solution developed by Chris Bradley seems very interesting viewtopic.php?f=11&t=4887. Do you know if anybody here has replicated that HV source?

Regards,

Cristiano

Re: HV Divider

Rich, Dennis, Rex and John,

Thank you for all the advises. It really helped.

I will look for an appropriate resistor. Unhappily, here in Brazil it is not so easy to find parts and the import tax are very high.

Cristiano
