Thanks for the comments everyone! The black tape isn't actually whats sealing the vacuum. It was just something I tried and as expected did nothing. My vacuum chamber is just a mason jar, any ideas on how to get a better seal around the inside of the lid (the part with the rubber as seen in the link...

Hi everyone, sorry if this is something covered in the faqs, altho I didn't see anything like this there. So tonight I finally finished up my demo fusor that I have been working on for the past week or so. My issue is that while I have achieved plasma, or at least it appears I have, it is pretty dim...

13 Watt Inverter Alternatives

Greetings!
I reecently read viewtopic.php?f=11&t=4887 and soon realised the 4W 12V CCFL inverters described were impossible to find online. So I ask: are there any (preferably) as cheap or cheaper alternatives to these inverters?
